These trays invoke the simple pleasure of tearing and gulping down a piece of hot-from-the-oven Barbari bread handed to you by the Noonva (Baker). Perhaps you remember the long queues of the Noonvayee and listening to the chatter of hungry patrons, or the squabbles when someone, too eager to wait, cuts the line to get to their bread. You certainly recall that first bite into the fresh goodness!
Remembering the sweet smell of Barbari, this most basic staff of life, is the inspiration for these trays. I hope you’ll enjoy serving your bread, cheese and yummy snacks on this tray with happy memories of our Barbari.

- Note that most of my works are not light weight, like T-shirts or jewelry. They’re heavy/fragile ceramics and require a lot of padding materials for safe shipping. This cost in addition to my labor and other expenses are built into the product.
