Bozi - Planters

For generations of Iranian children, one of the most beloved and go-to bedtime stories had been the story of BozBoze Ghandi. Despite regional variations of the story, the version that most of Tehran’s children like myself grew up with, almost always began with a line that said, “BozBoze Ghandi had three children, Shangool, Mangool, and Habeh Angoor…”

You can adopt a piece of your childhood memories or all three of them together.

• Habeh Angoor (little one) is roughly 4” x 4” x 6”
• Mangool (middle child) is roughly 6” x 6” x 8”
• Shangool (first born) is roughly 8” x 8” x 10”
• These planters are for inside plants and don’t have a drain hole a.k.a “pee-hole” :)
• Handmade with stoneware clay & stained with iron oxide (twice fired)

* These planters are handmade without the use of plaster molds and each bozi has it’s own unique character. With that in mind, please embrace these as handmade and full with delightful unpredictabilities and subtle expressive variations.
