Two dolls of Amoo Nowruz and Naneh Sarma:
Amoo Nowruz is another character who announces Nowruz. he also wears red cloths but he does not color his face in black. He has a long white beard like Santa Claus.
He comes from the land of legends to tell us about Spring and eid.
He sings: "Amoo Nowruz has come, he has come happily and victoriously."
Amoo Nowruz omadeh, khoshhal o pirooz omadeh.
The characters of Uncle Nowruz and Naneh Sarma in ancient narratives and oral literature are a symbol of change and transformation in the nature and condition of people, during which Nene Sarma goes as a symbol of stillness and freezing and Uncle Nowruz leaves as a symbol of growth and freshness.
In an old story I read: "These hailstones are the pearls of the old woman's necklace, because she gets angry when she sees the young April and tears her pearl necklace, but the pearls fall to the ground. If they fall, they melt."
They are both 20 cm dolls, made by Nogol in her studio in Switzerland.
