Persian Spine – an homage to my homeland, Iran. The beautiful country where I was born in 1980 and grew up in the midst of my loving family. The country that shaped my life and my character through traditional and cultural values. The country I had to left behind when the Iranian revolution took its toll and burst into the life of my family. As a protection against the threatening political situation, my parents were forced to give up their so far. Everything should be better in Germany. But the beginning wasn't that easy. My mother and my brother weren't allowed to come with us, so I was alone with my father in a foreign country. Nevertheless, I didn't dismay myself. Hoping to meet my mother and my brother again some day made me strong. After two long years, the time had come: We were together and finally found a place of safety in Germany. A new beginning that is manifested in my designs. Fashion is my passion. It plays an important role in the daily life of every individual. It is able to expose our innermost souls without any words. But I was stretched to my limits after searching a T-shirt that reflects my personality. So I decided to make something on my own. Photography, art exhibitions, fashion shows and other sources serve as original and inspirational content that helps me to express my story in a modern way. Even without a fashion career I managed to make an own business. I did it my way. With a label representing me and my home. Innovative. Proud. Creative. Traditions meet trends and pair Persian prints with the spirit of the time. Persian Spine – established 2014 in Germany – cherishes cultural values and combines classic patterns with modern looks, which bring the ancestry of the label to mind. A team of young graphic artists and designers made it their business to create casual, of-the-moment street wear with Persian elements. For you. For me.
