My work is a fusion of my background in studio art and graphic design in a mixed-media and sculptural format. I am interested in capturing forms and the shape each piece has to offer in the platforms I use. The results have grace and dignity despite the medium that sometimes can be as hard as concrete or soft as a canvas. Concrete in particular is an unforgiving and long-lasting material and rarely viewed as art. I wanted to challenge my creativity within the confines of wood and concrete. All the pieces I create are made from building materials such as concrete, wood, plaster, wall joints, and paint. I do large commissions and small affordable pieces. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do create each individual piece.
