*My Statement:
In pursuit of achieving a new and contemporary expression, I have benefited from Persian calligraphy. I dont intent to create the past. Human in contrast with tradition and modernity is my concern. I never considered handwriting as a decorative element. I find new compositions which are rooted in the 1000 years of my fore-fathers tradition, and at the same time face the future. With my fascination for the power of the word, I analyze the appearance of the words and create an abstract, personal and aesthetic form. The output would be a wearable jewelry or not. It would be even a miniature sculpture that you can use as decoration.
To be Mention that I’ve used very pure style of Persian calligraphy named: NASTALIGH originally from 500 years ago. I believe in NASTALIGH as a finest, most harmonic Persian calligraphic style.
