Mirror work Collection
This handmade jewelry collection is inspired by Mirror work, pronounced Āine-kāri in Farsi. Mirror work is a traditional Iranian art that has been mainly used in indoor decorations of historical buildings, particularly religious ones. Āine-kāri is made by assembling finely cut mirrors together in geometric, calligraphic or foliage forms (inspired by flowers and other plants).
This art has always been exercised to realize the spiritual quality of building and portray the world of ideas in the thought of the mystics and Persian artists.
Storing, Cleaning and Care
To make sure that our jewellery is safe and comfortable, we use up-cycled plexiglass instead of mirror pieces. Plexiglass is prone to scratches. Therefore, avoid rubbing your jewellery against hard surfaces or materials. When storing your earrings or necklaces make sure they are not rubbed against each other to avoid scratches.
To maintain their sparkle, avoid bathing or swimming while wearing them. Avoid direct contact with lotions, sprays or other similar products. Use a micro-fibre type of cloth to remove fingerprints or other stains.
