Muqarnas is a three-dimensional visualization of Persian abstract geometric patterns. Its infinite pattern allows it to grow seamlessly. This architectural element that usually can be seen in sacred places and temples, attaches the ceiling – mainly under the dome – to the walls. In these places, Muqarnas, with its upward movement and immense scale, helps retaining an aura of transcendence.
