Meaning animal, Janavar is a series of abstract animal and bird patterns that are usually woven in the borders of Qashqai rugs. Having roots in Iranian art and architecture, birds are important symbolic elements in Persian culture. Inspired by Janavar motifs, our “Janavar” T-shirt represents an abstract image of two turkeys and a peacock in the middle.
