The prevalent and long-lived textile motif of paisley or “boteh jegheh” was originally designed in Iran in the Sassanid era. This motif is a visual abstraction of a bent cypress tree “sarv” and a symbol for strength and resilience. My take on this tree of life was to turn it into a serving tray with the addition of red pomegranates for love, and the golden birds of freedom.

- Full refund within 2 weeks of purchase.
- Note that most of my works are not light weight, like T-shirts or jewelry. They’re heavy/fragile ceramics and require a lot of padding materials for safe shipping. This cost in addition to my labor and other expenses are built into the product.
