My artistic expression in these paintings is based on a kind of deletion and reconstruction. That is made on an incomprehensible background of unfamiliar language. Censorship history in Iranian culture, artworks, literature, theatre, painting, architecture are powerful subjects that cause encounters and interaction between people and reality. In my paintings, it’s a matter of putting together layers of abstract Information and social realities. My paintings are about the culture of censorship in Iranian books. Unrecognizable naked pieces and bodies have only become a shape of form. This painting makes the audience more curious about the aesthetic and erotic sense of feminism.
