Born in Tehran, Mahrooz Beladi holds a B.A. and M.A. in Painting. She is a painter and sculpture and one of the students of the world renowned Iranian artist and sculpture, Parviz Tanavoli. Mahrooz is a member of Contemporary Jewelry Artists Association and her work has been showcased at more than thirty exhibitions and galleries worldwide including Canada, USA, Kuwait and Iran. "Welcome to my fantasy world" is the title I picked for my wearable sculptures. Anything can be found in this world. From chewed Bic pen to band-aids and Coca Cola, to pitcher and cassettes. I would like to invite you to wear my world.
