DORIAN WHO is a Slow Made, Season-less Avant-garde streetwear brand using dead stock materials based in Toronto and founded by Tehran born Dorian Who. Growing up in Iran, fashion was always a gateway for her to freely express herself in a restricted environment. She studied fashion design at Lasalle College in Istanbul, Turkey and moved to Toronto in 2015 shortly after graduating. Life in Canada gave her freedom of expression and many opportunities, ultimately inspiring her to start DORIAN WHO. 

Dorian has been featured by the likes of Elle Canada, Vogue Arabia, Grazia Italy, Business of Fashion, Haber Turk, City line, Women’s Sense, Toronto Life, The globe and mail,The Kit, and Fashion Magazine. Her maximalism styling and bold self expression lead her to be chosen as one of 10 Disruptor Artists for CAFA AWARD’s 2018 XPOSED project. In 2019, she was named number 3 on Toronto Life’s Best Dressed List  

In 2018 she created DORIAN WHO for any person, regardless of their age or gender, WHO dare to be different. Her love for culture and her inspiring originality manifests itself in DORIAN WHO’s distinct attention-catching designs and surreal profiles. Her dream is to break all the rules, encourage people to style themselves for WHO they are and bring the runways to the streets, for people to show their power in style. DORIAN WHO boasts all original designs with rich, bold colors, fearless silhouettes and limited, unique prints. DORIAN WHO worn by Style Icons like Aureta, Young Emperors, Director X, Margarete Atwood and Cheri style.

The icon of the logo is “WHO” in Farsi, which is the mother tongue of the founder, and the icon itself is inspired by Asian calligraphy due to the founder’s love for the East Asian culture.
