Spread the love

The floral motif that adores Takht-e Jamshid (Persepolis) palace is a sacred Lotus flower with twelve petals. In Zoroastrianism, number twelve was the symbol of perfection. Each petal is dedicated to an angel (Yazata) that houses the twelve zodiac signs. Ancient cosmologists believed these angels (Farvardin, Ordibehesht, Khordad…) had a direct influence on human life and destiny.

I love these ornaments do much that I bought a pair for myself, and two pairs as gifts for two friends. Even the packaging is gorgeous! Honestly, Compared to mass-produced ornaments that are not nearly as beautiful, this is such an amazing price. If you have attempted to make ceramic pieces (like my failed attempts), you know how hard it is to make such delicate pieces. Thank you Katayoun jaan for creating beauty in this world. Such beautiful and original work. And Katayoun is professional, super nice, and warm. You can feel the love that goes into every single piece she makes. Sima Shakhsari | 23 Dec 2019
