  • Design Info: The design of this scarf is inspired by a miniature painting from Firdawsi’s Shahnama, named “Kay Khusraw Welcomed by His Grandfather, Kay Kaus, King of Iran” which was created Tabriz, Iran, within 1520 and 1535, Shahnama was commissioned by Shah Ismail and his son, Shah Tahmasb. With its 258 miniatures painted by the court studio’s finest artists, the book is considered the finest Safavid manuscript ever produced. The original scanned file of this painting has been used for designing this scarf.
