Painted eggs by Shirin S. Badie

The Farvahar is a Zoroastrian religious symbol. It symbolizes good thoughts (پندار نيك، Pendar e Nik), good words (گفتار نيك, Goftar e Nik) and good deeds (كردار نيك, Kerdar e Nik), which are the basic tenets and principles of Zartosht, the prophet of ancient Persia.

The winged lion soldier is a strong Hakhamaneshi creature that resembles a soldier with bird-like wings and lion body. It is found in ancient buildings of Persepolis in Iran.

Arash Kamangir is a heroic archer in Iranian folklore. He was the Persian national hero who sacrificed his life to preserve the territorial integrity of Iran in the war between Iran and Touran.
