ALI NOURIADEH IS GRADUATED FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF YAZD, IRAN IN TEXTILE DESIGN. HE ALSO HOLDS A MASTERS DEEGRE IN FASHION AND TEXTILE DESIGN FROM MARMARA UNIVERSITY IN ISTANBUL, TURKEY. ALI HAS EXHIBITED HIS TEXTILE DESIGNS IN NUMEROUS EXHBITIONS AND SHOWS IN TEHRAN, TABRIZ, YAZD AND MALAYSIA. ALI FOUNDED “JINOR” WHICH IS A COMPANY IN THE FIIELD OF BATIK PRINTING ON TEXTILE, IN TURKEY IN 2011. JINOR IS A KURDISH WORD MEANING NEW THOUGHT AND GIFT OF GOD. ALI HAS BEEN PRACTICING BATIK PRINTING FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS AND THE MISSION OF HIS COMPANY IS TO ALIGN THIS BEAUTIFUL OLD TECHNIQUE WITH TODAY’S MODERN LIFE AND HELP IT SURVIVE AMONG THE MODERN TECHNIQUES BEING USED TODAY. HIS TXTILE DESIGNS CONSIST OF TWO CATEGORIES: ONE THAT TAKES INSPIRATION FROM THE PAINTINGS OF GUSTAV KLIMT AND THE OTHER CATEGORY THAT IS ALSO PRESENTED AT THIS SHOW, INSPIRED FROM PERSIAN CALLIGRAOHY.
